Proactive Monitoring and Management

Our services are designed to complement your existing resources and bring knowledge to your enterprise that might not otherwise be available.

ServerCare has three support levels:

BasicCareTM: This is our entry-level offering. It includes once a week monitoring of a single database instance, access to the ServerCare Helpdesk, and 1 hour per month of DBA or Sysadmin services during normal business hours. This option requires no long-term commitment. Although weekend support is not available with BasicCare, weekday after-hours support is available as an option.

ExtendedCareTM: This is our most popular support level. It includes once a day monitoring on normal business days for up to 2 related database instances, access to the ServerCare Helpdesk, web-based messaging of ServerCare personnel, and 5 hours of DBA services per month to take care of any issues, upgrades, patches, tuning, or other general support.

Add-on Option 1: Database Analysis & Health Check – This is a one-time service that provides a comprehensive initial analysis of your database and its environment. ServerCare personnel will run a variety of scripts and tools, and produce a detailed list of any problems found, along with criticality, proposed solution(s), and estimate of effort for each.

Add-on Option 2: 24/7 or 24/5 support – With this option, support is guaranteed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (weekends & holidays excluded for 24/5). There is no surcharge for any work performed after-hours, whether for emergencies or planned maintenance.

Add-on Option 3: Real-time Alarming – With this option, ServerCare will configure your Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) or other tools to monitor your environment for a variety of critical issues, and issue alarms directly to ServerCare (and, optionally, client personnel as well). This ensures the fastest possible response time on any issues, and minimizes potential downtime. If OEM is not currently installed in the client’s environment, ServerCare can perform an installation and configuration for a fixed cost.

CompleteCareTM: Includes all of the above in one convenient package at a discounted rate, with twice the included hours, free setup, free initial analysis, and a discount on any additional hourly work.
